Clearer website copy and better German behavior
This website update makes sign-up and checkout clearer, keeps your chosen German language after sign-up or sign-in, switches the German site to du outside legal pages, and rewrites the homepage hero to say what Thriftly gets you.
Fixed
Sign-up says which terms you have to accept
The sign-up form states the terms you are agreeing to before you submit, instead of only refusing once you have filled everything in.
Fixed
Checkout closes the way it opened
The checkout dialog now animates shut instead of vanishing, and your plan list stays behind it the whole time.
Improved
Thriftly keeps the language you signed in with
Sign up or sign in on the German site and your profile stays in German. Pick a different one in your profile settings whenever you like.
Improved
The German site talks to you as du
The German homepage, FAQ and footer now say du, the way Vinted and the rest of Thriftly already do. Legal pages keep the formal address.
Improved
The homepage says what Thriftly gets you
The hero led with the word automation. It now names the outcome, and the four things Thriftly does in your own browser while you are elsewhere.
