Better sign-up and setup on the Thriftly website

Sign-up on the Thriftly website now leads straight through setup: install the extension, connect Vinted, and name your Workspace. Along the way, browser support, marketplace selection, and existing seller links are handled directly.

  • New

Guided setup after you sign up

Signing up now leads through three steps — install the extension, connect Vinted, name your Workspace — and ends on a Workspace that is already connected.

  • Improved

Install buttons start an Account first

The header, hero and closing calls to action now open sign-up instead of the Chrome Web Store, so the extension is installed for an Account that exists.

  • New

The install step notices the extension itself

Onboarding detects the extension in this browser and moves on without you pressing anything. Installing on another computer does not count here.

  • New

A straight answer on an unsupported browser

Safari and phones are told immediately that the extension needs a desktop Chromium browser, with the link to copy or emailed to you to finish elsewhere.

  • New

    Pick your Vinted marketplace

The marketplace you are already signed into is selected for you. Thriftly opens it in a pinned background tab and reads back only your public Vinted seller name.

  • New

Told when a Vinted seller is already connected

A seller identity bound to your own Workspace links straight to it. One bound to another Account, or one whose Trial is spent, is explained at the Vinted step.

  • Improved

    Workspace name pre-filled from Vinted

The last step suggests your Vinted seller name, shows the Slug it derives, and tells you while you type when that address is already taken.
